I don't know when I'll be able to finish my projects on this site, but not at least before the end of this month.

Hello everyone,

First, nope, I will not give you a new SY or SH chapter (or at least, not today). I wanted to talk to you about Sankarea.

I've recently received an e-mail of someone asking me when I would release the tanks, since I did say I'd translate them.

To tell you all the truth, I haven't done anyhting for Sankarea since I pulled the plug, but, well, you all have been quite nice about it, so I will ask you all what you think.

If the poll shows 50% or more of positive answers, I'll do the tanks, if not, you can guess the rest.

ps. As for Edison Fantasy Science, the project is still on, (I've finished chapter 4 for quite some time now) and I was thinking of doing tank releases, since it's only 3 vols. I'll have you vote for that too (and remember my mark is 50%)

Hi,

You remember how I've told you before that I was doing a new (and final I hope) version of Shut Hell? Well, there it is.
Reading my old work, I could see that it was really done in an amateurish way, and now that I've been translating things for almost one year now, I thought it would be time to improve my old projects.

Why you might want to download this new version:
- Better editing skillz
- Better understanding of what's going on in the story, which leads to a better translation (and I hope my english got better during this year)
- Cities' names were changed to their chinese counterparts, as I was trying to get closer to the words the characters might use (meaning no -san -sama or other japanese suffix during Shut Hell's and Yurul's time)
- Last point, the quality is much better overall, so do not hesitate here, and enjoy the ride. I also have the raws for volume 2 and 3, and will release the new (and improved) version when it's done

Hello people,

first of all, let's stop bashing simple scan, it was, as I understand it, an honest mistake, so I think we could cut them some slack. Besides, Devilfox from simple scan already apologized, more than once, so I say we move on.

I took some time to think about it, and my conclusion is: I will work on the new Sankarea chapters as I find them, but at least from now on, I will have more time for proofreading and quality check, so in a way, you could thank them.

Lastly, I am now busy with my final exams, so I won't release anything before the end of may at the very least.

Ps: I'm still looking for any Shut Hell or Sengoku youko you might find. But this time, to avoid confusion, directly 'report' on this blog ^^

Alright everyone,
I just saw that simple scans got the raws of sankarea 5 and translated it (of course, I heard nothing beforehand, but then, see above).
I checked it, and it seems like they did a good job, and since I'm not interesting in rivalry (and I hate that kind of mentality, even on the net), I hereby withdraw on this project. I guess you don't really care, as long as you can read new chapters, but I'm kinda pissed off about this right now.
I'll nevertheless do a v2 of my previous chapters when I find the tank.

Helloooo Nurse!

Just so you know I ain't dead, here is a new project (again?).
It's not really a "new" chapter since the first volume of RideBack was already released years ago, but since I decided to take back this project (without the consent of the previous translators, I couldn't contact them, the team seems not to be active anymore), I thought I could go back from the beginning. Some of you may know the anime, some don't. Anyway, anime and manga are quite differents, but really enjoyable (I, for now, really like the anime, even though I only saw half of it)

This project is actually somewhat of a 'coup de coeur' for me, because I first fell in love this author when Edison Fantasy Science got translated in my country, and then, when in Japan, I searched all 'Book-off' to find something else from him, and finally found the first two volumes of RideBack. It was years ago, but I alwys wanted to work on this, so here I am.
For this translation, I used some of the work of the previous team, since I think they did a really skillful job, so you will find some unchanged stuff, consider it a tribute.

And now, the first chapter, Memory of Motion.

PS: And for those who wonder what happen to the other projects, I'm still waiting to find Shut Hell raws after the chapter 19, Sengoku raws after the chapter 23 (though I have already done the 26th, go figure), Sankarea new raw shouldn't be too long now (at least, I hope).
Now, for the old project like Yaoyorozu Girl and Shoujo Kitan Makora, Gantz_Waitingroom should take care of those, as they should do Imperial Guards soon, that's why I'm not working on these anymore.

here comes a new project called Sankarea. The author is the same that Inu Neko Jump, Otogi no Machi no Rena or Umisho, so it's kinda ecchi, but not that much much.

It's some kind of strange love story but the twist is... well you'll see ^^
There are only 3 chapters for now, and I've got the feeling that it won't be a very long series anyway (could be wrong)

I hope you didn't think that you'd only get one chapter of your beloved Shut Hell this week end?
This 19th chapter is, dare I say it, absolufuckingly awesome, especially the ending (but read it, you'll see with your own eyes).
Unfortunately, since the scan quality is still not top notch, it doesn't do justice to the epicness one can feel during while reading, so I tried to ease it a little by trying some editing on my own... just let me know what you thought of it.

Well, this one, as well as the next ones, I think I'll do them in a regular pace, not like Sengoku and Shut Hell I did fast, because first, I won't have so much time in my hands anymore, and second, SY and SH were my main projetcts, one could say, so from now on, no need to act too fast.

I'm really starting to fall in love with this serie, so I think i'll do the remaining chapter quickly too (even though not this week end, as I'm at a friend's place)

This chapter is entitled LITTLE SPARROW and as you'll see, it's in fact a nickname for a character. In japanese it was Susume, but as it is (most likely) not her real name, I chose to tanslate it. If it appears it was really her name, I'll do a v2

Hello, and welcome on Milky Translation
This will be a blog dealing with translation of manga that are too often unnoticed, they will more likely be action manga and seinen, as they are the kind I like.
I will only translate manga I like, but really want to do stuff that no one else know about, or at least no one already translated like twenty times (which means no Jump manga).
Now, bear in mind that I'm just a guy, so don't go expecting 30 releases a day (I don't have that much projects anyway ^^).
But the more important is: I'm no nativ english-speaker, so I have to go from a language that's not mine to another language that's not mine. You're bound to find errors in my works. When so, I gladly advise you to say it, so that I can correct my mistakes.
